Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Clarinet Concerto in A major, K. 622
Gustav Holst: The Planets, Op. 32

Description

The programme will include Sir Edward Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstance March No.1. the first and most famous of five marches by Elgar. Followed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto in A major, K. 622, generally considered to be Mozart’s best wind concerto. Finally, Gustav Holst’s The Planets, Op. 32 will serve as a seven-movement auditory Journey to end the performance. Each movement of the suite takes you through Holst’s music-centric interpretation of the Planets.
