The Dance and Music Festival is honored to invite the National Academic Bolshoi Opera
and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus—one of the leading ballet companies in Eastern
Europe—to present Romeo & Juliet and Cinderella, accompanied by the RBSO, promising an
exceptional and unforgettable artistic experience.
The National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus, founded
in 1933, is the most prestigious cultural institution in the country. It is a world-class center for
classical arts, celebrated for its architectural grandeur and high-caliber artistic ensembles.
In 2014, the theatre was awarded the UNESCO “Five Continents” Medal, a high distinction
for its significant contribution to world culture. The company has toured in over 30 countries,
bringing Belarusian artistry to major stages worldwide.
